Things are going well, and everyone is having such a great time, with minor exceptions of course. Dean is up in the polls and the primary is about 24 hours away. This is an intense time, however, I've learned so much. It's amazing. I am fortunate to go through this adventure with such a great group of people, especially my roommates and my other new friends.

TOday was just another typical day meaning we did more door to door canvassing. Dr. Dean came to our overflow office and spoke and even mentioned the students from the university of south Florida, the "Frozen Floridians for Dean", and thanked us for coming up to help him out. It was awesome. Then after he spoke, I was interviewed by a news channel from Vermont. The bit was aired ontonight at 5:30, but I got the information and I am going to get a copy of the news bit sent to me. It will hopefully make it to our class DVD, along with Dean's speech. Things are winding down, and even though it's only been a week, all of us would agree that we feel like we've all known each other for years. Yesterday I met Carol Mosely Braun, i don't know if I mentioned that earler. TOmorrow, it is going to be incredibly busy because the last day before Primary, so we will probably do a great deal of visibility, that is standing outside holding signs which is actually fun when all of us classmates working on this campaign are standing together. Joe Roma is a very hilarious guy and keeps all of us laughing. Joe Schmolen is a great energizer and keeps us all going. Edita is wonderful, she is fun to be around and should be rewarded for the junk us guys put her through. She is great. Amy is such a sweetheart and a hard worker. I am so glad she is on our campaign with us. And Theresa...well, what can you say. Theresa is sexy, sassy and an asset to our team. (I said ASSet). Fortunately we've all met Dean, and I'm still waiting to get a picture though. It will be good to get home. I miss my girl, my grandma, and my kids. I hear the kids are asking about me. I just can't sleep right without them laying on my pillow, licking my head.

48 hours and counting....

Well i realize its Friday now, and just like I expected i have been so busy i havent been able to keep up with all of my postings like i wanted to. By the time we get back from our 8 to 12 hour workdays I am so tired that i dont feel like waiting for one of the two computers in the lobby. Today was by far the most exciting, so i will discuss it briefly before i fall down from exhaustion. not really....

we went to Dean headquarters after a lecture from Dante Scala at the Anselm College Department of Politics, and I had him sign a book of his. Then we went to campaign headquarters where they asked us if we would be willing to drive around the state on the Dean Tour bus and do "visibility" or "viz" as the lingo goes which is standing outside places he is going to show up and hold signs, cheer, chant. The Bus was huge. Imagine a tour bus that rock stars drive around in with leather seats and comfort all around. We drove to from Manchester to Nashua, from Nashua to Milford and the Manchester to Keene. IT was a great experience and so much fun. I am very fortunate to have such great friends and class mates to hang around with.

I also met Dean's Brother, and Mark Shields from the Capital Gang on CNN just walked by a few minutes ago checking in at the Comfort Inn. INteresting...

will update again soon....a lot to say, but only a 20 minute time limit..

1:29 eastern standard time.....these last two days have felt like ten days. it's hard to put into words what i have learned so far. a lot about politics...a lot about me. Monday Morning we went to meet Lieberman but unfortunately he walked into the cafe so fast and we were so pressed for time that only two people got their picture taken with him. He is short though. Then we started work at Dean's Headquarters. I wrote some personalized letters to undecided voters and made some phone calls. The work certainly isn't glamorous, and I knew it coming into this, but it is VERY important. Today we toured Concord and visited the state house. Very interesting. Also, the New Hampshire Democratic and Republican campaign headquarters. At the campaign today, we split into two groups of three and did door to door canvassing. Again, an interesting and learning experience. We walked for 2 and 1/2 in freezing temperatures but I was well dressed for the weather. Tomorrow, or should I say early this morning, we will be going to Dean Headquarters in Manchester and have opportunity to meet and greet the next prez of the USA. As of now, I believe I will go to bed as I am very tired. Found out that we will see Carole King on Friday. I respect her as a musician and songwriter, so I am looking forward to the experience. Also, tonight we saw the State of the Union at a Clark Rally. While we were waiting in the lobby to leave, his wife arrived from South Carolina and was very nice. We took a group photo with her and then took a large van with 20 people to Taco Time. Still snowy. Everybody made it to the hotel now and we will be meeting in a few for dinner and a meeting. We have to be at campaign headquarters at 7:45 am tomorrow. Professor will tell us all of the logistics and information in the meeting. Tomorrow will be interesting and I am looking forward to seeing what we will be doing. The Iowa Caucuses are tomorrow and then everyone will be coming to New Hampshire. It's going to be crazy! I just found out the Channel 10 news is doing a piece on us when we get back to Florida. And today we were featured in the St. Petersburg Times, section B. Am going to rest for a few as I have been driving the big van back and forth to the airport.

Tuesday night, 11:16 pm, eastern standard time.
